This Japanese-made Arisaka Type 38 6.5x50 Japanese rifle is in fantastic, used condition. This rifle was made in the Nagoya Arsenal. This is a 28th series rifle, which is denoted by the stamp before the serial number. The receiver shows the full Chrysanthemum. The bolt has a mismatched serial number. Stock is in good shape, with handling marks and some lacquer wear. It appears to retain its original integrity with no splits or cracks. The barrel measures 31.5" in length. Bore is in great shape with pronounced rifling. It still has plenty of life in it. This rifle is missing the cleaning rod, top wood, one rear swivel screw, and one lower buttplate screw.

This gun is in functioning condition and test fired successfully.
