It's a great day to apply for the NFA stamp! We've streamlined a better, more efficient way to help our customers obtain silencers by improving our own in-house NFA application process. We can now do it all -- fingerprints, photographs and trusts -- at our store, with no kiosk or third-party involved.

THE BENEFIT: Once you complete the NFA process once, you can simply call us up, order your next silencer, and we'll take it from there. Easy peasy!

TRANSFERRING IN NFA ITEMS: We do accept NFA transfers! Each transfer runs $125. Please contact us at 214. 321. 0231 or info@mcclellandgun.com to set up an appointment to start the NFA process.

THE SIX SILENCER STEPS:

Pick out a silencer. Browse some of our inventory here on our website or come by the store for guidance.
Decide whether to apply as an individual or a trust. If you're processing the silencer as a trust, we'll need a notarized copy.
Come by the shop for in-house fingerprinting, photographs, and to provide necessary application info.
Set up an ATF eForms account. Notate your username and PIN number, which is required for final certification.
Once we have the silencer in our possession, we will process and certify your application, as required by federal law.
The waiting begins! Current eForm wait times average less than a month, often weeks or days after paperwork is submitted to the ATF. Applications with trusts run longer.
